Chef Andre’s culinary journey began at just 15 years old, bussing tables at Harpoon Willy’s—an experience that quietly set the foundation for his future in hospitality. After attending culinary school and helping open Half Moon Point, he went on to work in respected kitchens across the East Coast, refining his craft and developing a style rooted in freshness, creativity, and coastal influence.

Now, seven years later, Chef Andre has come full circle.

As the chef behind Coastal Canteen, he brings his local roots, professional experience, and passion for inventive, shore-inspired cuisine to this exciting new concept. His vision: bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a menu that captures the spirit of the Jersey Shore in every dish.
